If you are using these exercises in a university course, your
instructor may have supplied site-specific Getting Started
instructions.
Furthermore, you may have also been given a pre-assigned account name
(e.g., wustl14).
Check with your instructor if you are unsure.
Skip this step if you plan to use a pre-assigned account name.
However, even if you have been given a pre-assigned account
name (e.g., umass32), you may want to use your own account because
pre-assigned accounts are typically deleted at the end of the semester.
Feel free to get a personal account by going to the ONL Web page
and selecting the Get an account link in the side bar.
Note that approvals are usually done only between 9 AM to 5 PM on
business days unless prior arrangements have been made.
Select the Getting Started link in the side bar
and follow the directions for getting the file(s) for the
RLI and
creating an SSH tunnel to the ONL Central Resource Daemon.
Note that there is an FAQ for the NPR in the side bar of the
ONL Web page.
Make sure you select the one for the NPR.
