Notice

This is the beginning of the ONL Tutorial for the NPRs (Network-Processor Routers). The NPRs are based on IXP network processor technology and will be coming on-line in time for the Fall 2008 semester. If you are looking for the tutorial focussed on the NSPs (Network Services Processors), click this link. Although the conceptual framework is the same for the two architectures, the details are often different and their implementation details are unique.

Furthermore, rough draft versions of the NPR Tutorial will be posted with an Under Construction (XX% Done) notice. The ones that are marked as "0% Done" or " <50% Done" are likely to be extremely incomplete, inconsistent and maybe totally incorrect. The ones that are marked as " >75% Done" are nearly final versions with only small scheduled changes to be done. Those pages that are free of the Under Construction (XX% Done) notice, are final versions. If you find errors on those pages, send email to testbed-ops@arl.wustl.edu clearly describing the location of the error and the nature of the error.
